The Rundown: The Science Ninja Team fights to stop a dangerous creature while Jun finds herself alone behind enemy lines.
Jun is trapped in the Galactor base and fights for her life as the base is on high alert and she is being actively hunted. At the same time, the rest of the team has to leave her behind when Galactor attacks a nearby city as a distraction. The team debates what to do about both of their missions as Nambu reveals he has a contingency.
As Jun looks for a way to rescue the scientists and escape, the Beta team arrives to serve as backup and rescue. As they infiltrate the base and meet with Jun, they realize Galactor is willing to do anything to stop them including destroy the base and the scientists.
The Story: Bunn crafts an action packed and thrilling adventure in this issue. There is great action throughout the issue and I love seeing the story focus on Jun by showing how skilled and determined she is as a character. I like the impending conflict with the Beta team as well and I really like the energy of this story.
The Art: Batista delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how beautifully it captures the spirit of the anime.
