The Rundown: Gatchaman and his team take on the dangerous forces of Galactor.

A scientist working on scientific advances finds his building attacked by alien invaders. At the same time, Dr. Nambu’s Beta Team is put through their paces during training when they find themselves confronted by Gatchaman and the Science Ninja Team.

After a round of friendly sparring, the team prepares to go into battle. A battle that turns out to be a trap set by Lord Katse and Galactor to capture the God Phoenix and destroy it and the team.

The Story: As a fan of the original anime, Bunn does a great job of bringing this story to life with fun characters, great action and thrills throughout. It has all of the elements that made me a fan of Gatchaman as a kid and I love seeing these characters in action. The story is a fun mix of anime-style dialogue and stakes that made me excited with every page and panel. A truly fun adventure with a great cliffhanger that makes me want to see what happens next.

The Art: Batista delivers great art throughout the issue. From the awesome character designs to the thrilling action, the issue looks amazing.
