The Rundown: As winter descends on the city, one of the clan has a personal adventure.
Winter descends on the city and as the sun sets, the Gargoyles awaken at the top of the castle. As the clan emerges and begins their patrol of the city, Bronx decides to take advantage of the quiet by descending the castle and taking a stroll through the streets.
His stroll will bring him to another animal who is on a mission for its owner. A mission that will bring the pair through the city to find something precious and beautiful just in time for the holidays.
The Story: Weisman and Cosby craft an entertaining story in this issue. Even without dialogue, the story conveys emotion from the characters and the situation. A situation that has relatively low stakes given the characters, but is satisfying in what is signifies about a character like Bronx.
The Art: Kambadais delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how the story is almost purely visual in both story and emotion.
