The Rundown: While the Gargoyles discover a bigger plot moving in the shadows, Demona takes the next step in her plan.
The clan and their allies take on mechanical drones that are attacking the castle. Unfortunately, they discover too late that eh attack was a distraction used by Demona to steal something from Owen aka Puck. Something that is of significance to the other Gargoyles’ mission from Avalon.
At the same time, Thailog and his new partner take the object they procured to a dangerous place to trade it for something else. As he discovers the unexpected proprietor of this vault, Thailog discovers something more interesting. Demona meets with a traitor within the clan as she prepares her next move.
The Story: Weisman continues to craft a thrilling, fun and engaging adventure in this issue. The mystery within this series continues to be compelling and interesting and the layers and complexities of the characters and their motivations continue to create a world I love visiting with characters I enjoy. There is fantastic tension throughout the story and I continue to enjoy the threads being woven through the plot.
The Art: Qualano delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The visuals capture the characters beautifully and the action and visual thrills I love about this story.
