The picture shows Diana aka Wonder Woman back in costume as she prepares to face Cold War politics, a new threat and the menace of Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig.
Wonder Woman 84, as it is tentatively called, also features the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor as well as Pedro Pascal in an undisclosed role.
Patty Jenkins returns to direct the sequel with both Jenkins and Gadot acting as producers as well as Geoff Johns, Walter Hamada and Zack Snyder.
Wonder Woman 2 is expected to be released November 1, 2019.
