The Rundown: A young man with a connection to bigger events finds himself fighting Wyn and Doctor Strange.
Wyn and Doctor Strange find themselves facing off against an attack that could tear reality apart. An attack being perpetrated by a young man who has been taken by the In-Betweener and groomed for decades to be its weapon. As we learn more about this young man, his threat continues to grow.
After a desperate attack to remove the young man from the weapon he plans to use, Strange and Wyn decide to investigate where he came from, but Wyn needs to confront Aiko about her new protégé. Their investigation ultimately leads to a dangerous discovery.
The Story: Hickman continues to craft an interesting and thrilling world in this series. The story has some great action and an inventive and compelling narrative structure while creating and crafting interesting characters that stick with the reader. I continue to be engaged with every issue and the world being crafted within this series. It shows such an interesting and evolving new aspect of the Marvel universe and I would love to see more of this world in the future.
The Art: Schiti’s art is amazing. Every page and panel is filled with awesome detail and visually compelling moments and action.
