The Rundown: With threats on both sides from powerful forces, Superman and Wonder Woman decide that a new tactic might be needed.
Yara recovers a weakened Jon and brings him back to the fortress of solitude to rest. When his alarm wakes him, he finds that he is late for a very serious appointment. One that shows Wonder Woman the commitment Superman has to helping whoever he can whenever he can. In the aftermath, Superman learns of Yara’s predicament with the sun god and how it is connected to Jon’s dealings with Solaris.
As they both have things they need to deal with, they decide that the best course of action might be for them to switch things up. A plan that might be exactly what they need to kill two birds with one stone.
The Story: Watters does a really good job of bringing this story an entertaining resolution. Besides making the story interesting, the plot and dialogue do a great job of fleshing out the characters and making them compelling. The story takes an unexpected direction when it comes to solving the problems the characters face and that new direction makes the story more entertaining.
The Art: Leila Del Duca does a great job with the art in the issue. The style of the art is light and it matches the lighter tone of the story really well.
