The Rundown: Tim Drake stands alone against the forces of the Magistrate, but he might not be as alone as he thinks.
The Magistrate and his forces have taken over the city and no one wearing a mask is safe. To make matters worse, the Magistrate is bringing in a new chemical compound that will make his enforcers even deadlier as he plans to make a final push against the Bat Family. With Tim vastly outnumbered, it will take the return of Spoiler to give him a chance to get away with his life.
As Tim continues his investigation into the chemical, he enlists the help of another ally who knows about a shipment of the stuff coming into the city. As Robin, Spoiler and Darcy move in to stop the shipment, they walk right into a trap. A trap that will lead to a huge change in the life of Tim Drake.
The Story: Fitzmartin crafts an interesting and entertaining story. There is some great dialogue in the story and the writer does a great job of making Tim an engaging and dynamic character. The plot is really interesting and ties in really well to the dystopian aesthetic of this new Gotham City. I like the personal relationships as well and the potential for personal drama between Tim and Stephanie.
The Art: Eddy Barrows delivers some great imagery throughout the issue. The characters look great and there is some awesome action as well. I really enjoyed the way the panels progress the story and the final few pages were eye catching.
