The Rundown: Peacemaker Red has a series of confrontations while the citizens of Gotham question The Magistrate’s authority. Jace Fox’s Batman battles The Igloo Bois.

Jason Todd remembers his history with the Bat Family. He then has a confrontation with the group. Afterwards, he is contacted by Peackeeper 03. Later he meets with an old friend with an unusual request. Elsewhere, the Peacekeepers exert control over a group of angry protestors.
Batman is captured by The Penguin’s ex-henchmen. He is then aided by a new member of the Bat Family. The two must then decide how to proceed.
The Story:
Williamson and Culver have created a compelling narrative with a surprising twist. I like the idea of Jason Todd stepping toward the forefront in his own tale. I hope this series explores more of his history with the Bat Family.
I am a fan of the Next Batman series and the Fox Family. I enjoy watching the growth of this character and the Bat Family in general.
The Art: The black and white motif of this issue is visually pleasing. The drawings are intense and detailed. And the mood of each story is matched by the artwork.
