The Rundown: Bruce takes the fight to the heart of the Magistrate’s operations and Jason’s chickens come home to roost.
Bruce knows he’s being watched and knows that the Magistrate’s forces are on the way. After securing his roommate, he enlists the help of a young woman with access to the upper echelon of the Magistrate’s organization. With her help, he is able to get the information he needs about the Magistrate’s ultimate plans, but getting the information and getting out alive are two different things.
Jason Todd has a price on his head and Ravager might just be the one to collect it as Red Hood goes on the run from his boss the Magistrate to track down the source of the mind control tech being used by the Red Hood gang. What he finds is a familiar face who might be connected to something bigger.
The Story: Tamaki does a brilliant job of building tension throughout and bringing the story to an explosive and well done finale. Williamson does a good job of increasing the danger and fun in both the story and dialogue. Both stories are great and the Red Hood story ends with a cliffhanger I want to see explored.
The Art: Dan Mora delivers some exceptionally detailed art throughout the issue. There is a glorious beauty in those pages. Milonogiannis brings some awesome energy to the action in the Red Hood story.
