Deron GenerallyThe creators of the CBS hit series How I Met Your Mother are teaming up for a new original musical drama called Molly and the Moon and they have lined up some musical veterans to lead the cast.
According to Deadline, actors Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff have been tapped to star in the musical which is about two parents waiting on the birth of their first child and how their singing begins Molly’s journey into a new world. Bell and Groff will play Molly’s parents Kate and Brian. The pair have sung together before as Princess Anna and her boyfriend Kristoff in the hugely successful animated film Frozen as well as its sequel.
Kristen Bell is known for her roles in The Good Place and Veronica Mars. She is currently filming the crime comedy Queenpins. Jonathan Groff is known for his role of King George in the musical Hamilton as well as the recently ended Netflix series Mindhunters. He can next be seen in the upcoming 4th Matrix film.
