The Rundown: Elsie and the cats find themselves trapped in a house of horrors.
After accidentally opening the door to the basement, Elsie and the other cats find the house invaded by Bad Kind that immediately begins attacking the other cats in the house. To make matters worse, Elsie discovers that the Lady keeping them has also been infected and refuses to listen to reason as she throws Elsie, Lord and two others down into the basement and locks them in.
As more horror descends on the house, the Lady brings the kittens down to the basement to leave them as well, but the cats decide to rebel and fight back, but their actions will leave them trapped with no means of escape.
The Story: Fleecs continues to craft a beautifully interesting and thrilling world in this issue. Going from the relative freedom of open space to the confines of the Lady’s house offers a new version of terror in this issue. The story has an amazing buildup of tension throughout and every moment is filled with surprises that kept me glued to the page. I continue to love this series and how Fleecs is developing new and interesting ways to showcase terror.
The Art: Forstner and Rodriguez create some awesome art throughout this issue. I love the visual style of this series and this issue has some truly disturbing and engaging imagery.
