The Rundown: The cats rush to escape certain death as dangers continue to grow.
Patch is infected and attacks the group. Jonas manages to fight him off as he and the others manage to make it out of the house, but it will cost them as one of them reveals that he is infected. A revelation that will lead to a violent encounter that will send Elsie and Gigi on the run looking for Lord.
After finding a safe place to hide from the people hunting them, Elsie and Gigi discover that there is no place safe when a group of infected bats surround them.
The Story: I continue to enjoy this series and the tense and thrilling adventure of it. There are some great moments of suspense throughout the story and a moment of intense surprise that jolted me as a reader. There is great action throughout the issue and the tension and terror rise to a level that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Forstner and Rodriguez deliver some beautifully intense and entertaining art throughout the issue. I love how the visual style feels like animation while it tells an intense and deeply serious, emotional story.
