The Rundown: The cats find more danger in the woods as they continue their race back home.
The cats continue their race back to some sort of civilization and Lord discovers that the people in the woods are not there to be friendly as they open fire on him when he reveals himself. After barely being rescued, Jonas attempts to tell the impulsive kitten the truth about their situation as they find themselves confronted by a pack of feral animals.
Taking to the trees to attempt to escape, Lord continues to make things worse by cozying up to another stray and drawing the attention of the human hunters in the woods shooting any animal on site as the group makes their way back to the home Lord and Elsie remember.
The Story: Fleecs continues to craft a thrilling adventure in this issue. Telling this story from the point of view of these animals continues to be a fantastic narrative choice because they’re domestication makes them oblivious to the dangers of the wild and that ignorance crafts some wonderful drama with the character of Jonas. The story ends with a fantastic cliffhanger that makes me excited for the next issue.
The Art: Forstner and Rodriguez delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The animation style of the characters brilliantly draws in the reader in order to disarm them with the violence of the story.
