The Rundown: Elsie and the others go from one dangerous situation to another as they escape something truly terrifying.

After the car they’ve been traveling in crashes, Elsie and the others look for a way out as more infected animals surround the crashed vehicle. Gigi is injured, but her kittens are fine. As they try to find a way out of the wreckage, the infected scatter as a bigger threat emerges, a giant infected grizzly bear.

As the bear pushes the car over a cliff, the cats find a way to escape, but things get more difficult when Lorde finds the infected Patches who turns on them before attacking the bear. As the cats try to escape the rampaging beast, they find another animal that might hold the key to their survival and safety.

The Story: Fleecs continues to create thrills and suspense throughout this issue. The story takes some compelling twists and turns as things get more dangerous for the cats and none of them go unscathed by the events that surround them. The story continues to take some huge chances and creates bigger and more intense moments in the process. The bear chase was a great highlight and the cliffhanger at the end of the issue makes me excited to see what comes next.

The Art: Forstner and Rodriguez create beautiful art throughout the issue. I will never not be impressed with the classic animation style of the story and how it contrasts with the horror movie elements of the world it exists in.
