The Rundown: Four stories celebrate 25 years of Farscape and the adventures of its characters.
Be Not Arfaid
Moya is infected by deadly spores that are hurting Aeryn. Pilot reveals the source of the infection and Zhaan is forced to confront not only the infection itself, but also her part in bringing it to life. A confrontation that will force Zhaan to confront her past.
An entertaining and intriguing story that reminds me of all the things I loved about the character of Zhaan.
Do Leviathans Dream of Biomechanical Sleep?
Crichton wakes up and discovers that Moya is flying erratically. As the rest of the crew deals with the ship’s erratic behavior, Pilot discovers what is effecting the ship and the crew must decide if they should wake the ship or let it continue its interesting dreams.
A fun and sweet short story that I enjoyed.
A Cycle of Chores
Pilot laments the amount of duties he has to perform for the crew of Moya as he monitors everything they do and say while making multiple adjustments to Moya’s systems to keep them all safe and comfortable. Tasks that do not go unnoticed by the rest of the crew.
A sweet and endearing story that makes me miss these characters and their unique relationships.
The Hynerian Prisoner
Chiana finds herself in a bar on a planet outside peacekeeper territory speaking to a dangerous patron that could possibly help her and Rygel deal with a sticky situation they don’t want to involve the rest of the crew in. Unfortunately, betrayal is what they find, but not in the way you think.
A fun, entertaining sting-style story that has a wonderful twist ending.
