The Rundown: Asami and Macraith continue to explore the island and discover there is another dangerous faction who have made it their home.
Asami thinks back on the moment that changed her life. A moment that ripped her family apart as she decides the path her life is going to take. On the island, Asami learns more about Macraith including a new talent the gunslinger seems to have hidden from the world.
The pair decide to fortify their position and continue to explore the island as Mohan continues to hunt them and their journey deep into the jungle will bring them face to face with some dangerous people who have made the trees their home and do not welcome visitors.
The Story: Duggan continues to create some great stories and characters throughout this issue. I continue to love these characters and their growing relationship. There are some awkward and cute moments between them as they learn to exist with each other in an increasingly dangerous situation. I love the levels of tension throughout the story and it takes some interesting and engaging turns before coming to a compelling cliffhanger ending.
The Art: Brown delivers some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout this issue. I love the character designs and how emotionally evocative the visuals continue to be.
