The Rundown: Macraith and Asami discover one of the challenges of the island.
Macraith and Asami find themselves in the presence of a warrior named Mohan. A warrior who offers to help them traverse the island and meet the others who have decided to follow his leadership. As the pair make their way through the jungle, they find a long dead warrior who warns them about their new companion.
As they continue their journey, they discover a waterfall that is the only thing holding back an army of the dead. An army the warriors will have to defend against as they find themselves in a new and dangerous world with few answers.
The Story: Duggan continues to craft a thrilling and engaging story in this follow up issue. There is great action and a fantastic buildup of tension both with the characters and the environment. I love that there is still mystery to everything happening to the characters in the story and that mystery keeps me engaged throughout the issue. I find myself invested in this story, its characters and its ongoing mystery and look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Brown delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The action is thrilling and I love the visual style of both the characters and the world.
