The Rundown: Eve will have to navigate a twisted family reunion if she has any chance of forging a life of her own.
Eve wakes up again, but this time she remembers everything. Jimmy Mac and Madden have found a way to cure Eve of the condition that makes her forget who she is every night and with the help of her new and old friends, Eve is going to complete her latest mission and rescue her mother.
As she makes her way to the base where her mother is being “held”, Delilah becomes aware of the mission and decides to intervene with a team of her own.
The Story: David Barnett brings back Eve in grand fashion. The story is action packed and filled with fun. The characters continue to be dynamic and interesting and the story is engaging from start to finish. With the stakes being raised for Eve and more revelations coming from this issue, the character’s journey becomes more interesting to read. Everything in this issue makes me want to keep taking this fun and frenetic ride with Eve and her friends.
The Art: Philip Bond delivers some beautiful art in this issue. The stylized art is impeccable and all of the characters look amazing. Bond makes every panel special from the character moments to the action.
