The Rundown: As another storm ravages the area, the disappearances begin to mount.

Another dust storm begins to ravage the area and Sarah finds herself caught in it with a couple of kids she is taking pictures of. At the same time, Lawton is working with the rest of the people of the town to prepare for the storm and bring people inside. When Sarah arrives, she and Lawton make their way to the doctor’s house to get away from the storm and get him to safety.

As the storm rages outside, Sarah learns more about Lawton and the sheriff has an uncomfortable night as more disappearances in the area get his attention. The next day, the pair go looking for the family that just left the area and make a disturbing discovery.

The Story: Jones is developing an interesting and engaging mystery in this series and this issue adds some new layers to the story that I found intriguing. The characters continue to be interesting as well and every element of the story works for me as a reader. I found myself immersed in this world, its characters and the growing mystery at the heart of this series.

The Art: Jones delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and the art gives an emotional connection to the times and the world the characters exist in.
