The Rundown: Dudley and Daedalus have one chance to stop the Prometheans from taking over the world.
The Prometheans are taking over the world and enslaving its population with Icarus at the command of their forces. Dudley and Daedalus have arrived back on Earth and have one chance of stopping the invasion.
After finding his father, Dudley and his friends commandeer an alien ship in hopes of enacting a plan to restart the watch, but Icarus decides to pay them a visit to end their plans for good.
The Story: Snyder brings this story to an entertaining and action packed conclusion. There is a great build up of tension throughout and some fun and funny moments mixed in with the action. The story is a great hero’s journey for Dudley, but I wish I got to see the aftermath of his battle with the Prometheans. It felt like an abrupt shift from the final battle with Icarus to the end of the story.
The Art: Igle delivers some fantastic imagery throughout the issue. The art has a great energy and a fun, engaging style.
