Deron GenerallySolo: A Star Wars Story star Donald Glover was both the host and musical guest on this week’s Saturday Night Live and there were some incredibly funny sketches by Glover and the cast.
One of the standout sketches of the evening was a spoof of the highly successful horror thriller ‘A Quiet Place’ starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. The SNL spoof decided to add some current event topics to this week’s sketch.
Starring Beck Bennett, Aidy Bryant, Kenan Thompson, Cecily Strong and Donald Glover, ‘A Kanye Place’ has the group trying to stay quiet as they make their way through a forest lurking with creatures that react to sound. Being quiet becomes more and more complicated for the group when Glover won’t stop sharing with the group everything Kanye West has done or tweeted this week. It was an incredibly funny, topical sketch that actually had some fun tension in it.
