The Rundown: Tracy and Pat discover that the mob isn’t the only thing to fear in the city.
Tess decides to continue the investigation into her father’s murder while she publishes a piece on the violence overtaking the city. Tracy and Pat find themselves in the crosshairs of another shootout as the gang war continues to erupt throughout the city.
As Tracy decides to use some low-level thugs to flush out the men he’s looking for, he and Pat discover too late that their new quarry not only has violent plans for the police officer and his partner, but that Tracy might have no one on the force he can trust.
The Story: Segura and Moreci continue to craft a dark, thrilling story for the characters in this story. There are some great, gritty character moments throughout the issue and the story does a great job of fleshing out the villains as well as Tracy. I find myself immersed in the world of these characters as well as the dark mystery at the heart of the story.
The Art: Borges creates some great art throughout the issue. I really like the visual style a lot and there are some great action beats to enjoy.
