The Rundown: Catwoman and her team plan to rescue Batman before he is publicly hanged.
Batman is still in the hands of the Orghams who plan on making a public spectacle of his hanging. Gordon and Selina work on putting together a team, plan to rescue the Dark Knight and only have three days to do it.
As Gordon and Selina deal with not only the dynamics of their team and the wildcards added to it including Mr. Freeze, Selina decides to pay a visit to the location they are holding Bruce in order to convince him to fight the force inside him. A visit that might tip off the Orghams to her plan.
The Story: Ram V continues to create a beautifully complex and engaging story in this issue. I love the relationship dynamics throughout and how the story has a dark and compelling tone that drew me in as a reader. The suspense is growing throughout this issue and everything in it from the reveals to the cliffhanger ending make me want to read the next issue.
The Art: Jason Shawn Alexander’s art is perfect for this dark, gritty and gothic story. The visual style reminds me of some of the best of Frank Miller in tone and visual appeal.
