The Rundown: The patients have taken over the tower and Nightwing must protect a powerful enemy.
Arkham Tower is in chaos as the police are cut off from entering the building and the patients are in control. With Chase Meridian a prisoner and Wear making his fatal exit from the building, Oracle wants to know what is going on with the security in the tower. Batwoman and Orphan are unable to breach the security, but both Spoiler and Nightwing are still inside. Among the hostages are the mayor’s wife and the ring leaders of the takeover want the power of control that Wear was using on them.
With few options, Nightwing finds himself dragging Psycho Pirate along with him to find a way out of the tower. At the same time, Huntress finds herself dealing with Freeze after rescuing the mayor’s wife. When Psycho Pirate escapes, Huntress and Nightwing are separated and the leaders of the revolt in the tower find themselves facing someone who has an idea of what they can do with the leverage they now have.
The Story: Tamaki brings some great drama and action in this issue. The story continues to be compelling and all of the characters are given great moments to shine both together and solo. I love the twists in this story as well as the tension on every page. Everything comes to a wonderful cliffhanger ending that is brilliantly paced and revealed.
The Art: Naheulpan delivers some fantastic art in this issue. The action scenes are thrilling and fun throughout. There are awesome character moments and the art perfectly captures the tension of the story.
