Deron GenerallyAfter getting our first look at Ruby Rose suited up as Batwoman and the reveal of Superman’s black suit in a Twitter post from Arrow star Stephen Amell, we get the first poster for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event “Elseworlds”.
According to the poster, “Destiny Will Be Rewritten” and, in this case, it looks like there will be some huge role reversals in the Elseworlds event. In the poster it looks like Flash star Grant Gustin will be taking on the role of the Green Arrow with Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen suited up as the scarlet speedster The Flash.
Details of the event are still secret, but we do know that the machinations of Arkham Asylum doctor John Deegan will be what draws Green Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl to Gotham City. Cassandra Jean Amell taking on the role of Nora Fries in the event also adds an interesting plot point to this story.
“Elseworlds,” this year’s Arrowverse crossover event, begins Sunday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT with The Flash, and continues Monday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT with Arrow before concluding Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET/PT with Supergirl.
