The Rundown: With a fire raging on the ship, the crew and prisoners on the Perdition will have more things to worry about.
In the wake of an explosion that has crippled the ship, the crew bands together to fight the fire and prevent the ship from sinking as others on board fight to protect the secrets of compartment zero. At the same time, Isa and an injured Brook try to warn the others about the pirate attack that caused their current predicament.
Unfortunately, the pirates will run into their own problem when one of their own returns from the dead with a vengeance. A vengeance that will echo throughout the ship when the ghosts begin to escape containment just as a giant wave bears down on the crippled ship.
The Story: Cavan Scott ramps up the thrills and the tension in this issue and turned it into a serious page turner. With everything going wrong on board the ship, I could not stop reading to see what would happen next and how the characters would deal with it. A thrilling supernatural adventure filled with great moments and palpable terror that makes me excited for what comes next.
The Art: Brokenshire does a brilliant job of capturing the terror and tension of the story through the imagery. You feel just as trapped as everyone else on the ship as the characters deal with fires, a storm and a group of rampaging ghosts.
