The Rundown: The surviving heroes come up with a desperate plan to find the cure for the virus, but it will require catching a god.
After securing an object that could potentially attract the elusive Metron, Constantine and his team attempt to recruit the surviving heroes to craft a trap to allow them access to the Mobius Chair. In order to do that, they are going to need the help of a cosmic hero and that means new Green Lantern Black Canary. Unfortunately, Dinah has no interest in leaving her husband, but it convinced to finally help.
The heroes make their way to New Genesis and a tense reunion with Orion. With the help of High Father, the heroes manage to locate Metron, but their search for knowledge and a cure will unwittingly release a threat more dangerous than any of them ever imagined.
The Story: Tom Taylor does a great job with not only the bigger story, but the interpersonal ones as well. Dinah’s story is compelling and her reunion with Jon is handled beautifully. Scott Free’s personal loss is handled well and his story is filled with pain and promise. The confrontation with Metron is great and Taylor brilliantly transitions into an edge of your seat finale.
The Art: Trevor Hairsine delivers some awesome visuals in this issue. The action is fantastic and all of the interpersonal moments are handled well.
