The Rundown: Batman and Green Arrow find themselves fighting for their lives against their allies.
Task Force X has been sent to deal with an issue at an abandoned warehouse and find themselves running into some vampire victims. To make matters worse, one of them will discover that the team has been compromised and he might not make it out alive. At the same time, Batman and Green Arrow battle the League who have been convinced that Batman is a vampire who killed one of their own.
As Batman tries to explain to the ones that haven’t been turned what’s happening, he finds himself fighting against the ones who have. A fight that will lead to a shutdown of Gotham City. As the remaining members of Task Force X get a last minute save from a member of the Bat Family, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern find the opportunity to turn another member of the League.
The Story: The different stories being told throughout the issue continue to be beautifully done. I love the contrast between the Suicide Squad story and Batman fighting for his life against the League. The plot continues to get more interesting with each issue and the conflict keeps me engaged as a reader.
The Art: Schmidt delivers some beautiful art in the issue and the visuals are stunning. What makes them work really well is the stylistic differences between the different stories.
