I’ve been reporting on the upcoming streaming service from DC Comics and Warner Brothers since it was announced and now it looks like the service is closer than we thought and they’ve given it an official title.
DC Comics new streaming service will be called “DC Universe” and it will feature live action series like Titans, based on the Teen Titans comics and the recently announced Swamp Thing series from James Wan that is in development.
DC Universe will also feature animated series like the new season of Young Justice. Titled Young Justice: Outsiders, the series will feature the young heroes taking down super villains as well as dealing with an underground criminal organization trafficking in metahumans across the galaxy.
There’s no official release date for the service, but it is expected to launch in 2019.
