The Rundown: Lou and Viv find themselves trying to save themselves and some children from the darkness.
Lou finds himself in the presence of a young boy who desperately needs his help to escape from the dark surroundings they find themselves in. At the same time, Viv is determined to rescue the child that reminds her of her daughter from the nightmare she is trapped in.
As Lou finds a possible escape, Viv discovers the dark creature at the heart of this nightmare. As she fights to protect the child and escape with Lou, they will discover that not everyone will make it back to the light.
The Story: Lambert delivers an engrossing, engaging and thrilling conclusion to this story that reminds me of some of the best dark sci-fi and horror thrillers like Twilight Zone or Outer Limits. An incredibly entertaining story that comes to a tragic and compelling conclusion.
The Art: Roe crafts some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of the series and how this story utilizes its horror imagery to enhance the mood and tone of the story.
