The Rundown: Summer and Sam confront Arthur Dante.

Sam and Halloween spend more time with their sick mother as kids and their enmity with their father continues as the experimental treatment she’s receiving takes a dark turn. Back in the present, Arthur Dante arrives and decides to take his children and Summer into the most exclusive area of the park for dinner and a discussion.
Dinner quickly takes a dark turn when Summer confronts the man about her brother as well as what’s happening in the park. When the confrontation gets too personal for Sam, he makes a bold and violent decision. One that could put his child at risk.
The Story: Williamson crafts a really tense confrontation in this issue with everyone confronting the person at the center of everything. The mystery continues to be compelling as its layers slowly peel away and I love the menace in Dante as he speaks to everyone. There is some great interpersonal conflict in the story and I love seeing how dark things are getting for everyone, especially Sam.
The Art: Bressan deliver some beautiful art in this issue. The dark tone of the story is perfectly captured in the imagery.
