The Rundown: Sam continues to hunt for his daughter as he confronts his sister about the park.
Arthur finds himself being confronted by the power behind the park as he prepares to reveal his latest masterpiece of horror. At the same time, Sam confronts his sister Halloween about the deaths in the park and their father’s deal with the devil. After learning about Halloween’s role in events, Summer attacks her and the pair get taken away by security when they try to warn the guests.
Sam attempts to appeal to his sister regarding his missing daughter and Halloween agrees to let Sam look for her as long as he takes Hayter with him. A move that will lead to dark revelations and more death.
The Story: Williamson continues to craft a thrilling, inventive and entertaining ride for the reader in this issue. The story takes some great twists and manages to continue evolving the mystery and its characters at the same time. I really enjoyed the tension between Sam and his sister as well as Summer having more agency in the story. The issue has a great buildup of suspense that culminates in a bloody and disturbing cliffhanger.
The Art: Bressan delivers some beautifully detailed, brilliantly bloody art throughout the issue.
