The Rundown: With everything on the line for existence itself, the heroes will have to do the unexpected to save everything.
The heroes are on the ropes and at the mercy of the Robin King. As the villain prepares to end them all, he is called away by The Darkest Knight who is prepared to take on Perpetua and remake the multiverse in his own image. With the heroes left fighting Castle Bat, they find themselves getting some unexpected help from Lex Luthor and the Legion of Doom.
The fight is getting more desperate as Lex tells the heroes that there is only one way to end it. A risky proposal that will change everything about the history of the universe and every converging and twisted crisis event. A proposal that will require a harsh, hard and long overdue truth to emerge. A proposal that will require the Trinity to come together and make the boldest decision they have ever made in one last attempt to save the multiverse.
The Story: An absolutely brilliant issue from Scott Snyder. I as riveted throughout and when everything started to take shape, I was blown away by the both the complexity and simplicity of the plan. Everything that Snyder is building up to in this issue has the potential to be big, bold and completely original in its scope and scale and I cannot wait to see how events unfold.
The Art: Greg Capullo is leaving it all on the field with the art in this issue. Not only is he getting the ability to draw obscure characters from the DC universe, but he is doing it brilliantly in scenes that are epic in scale and dazzling in both design and detail.
