The Rundown: The heroes make a final stand against the darkness with one hero being tempted to embrace it.

After taking down Pariah, the war continues with the darkness taking over Deathstroke and his attempts to drag Dick Grayson into it. At the same time, the returned Justice League and the other heroes fight back the hordes of villains. Inside the darkness, Nightwing faces off against Deathstroke who wants to end this world forever.

As the heroes take on the darkness, Damian arrives with a surprise of his own. A surprise that will help the Flash family beat back the darkness across the multiverse. At the same time, Nightwing and Black Adam have a final confrontation with Slade. A confrontation whose aftermath will not only create a bigger multiverse, but put an unexpected target on the backs of the heroes responsible.

The Story: A satisfying conclusion to this event from Williamson. The story brings together all of its story elements really well and I love the fact that the story is centered on Nightwing. His character is given the emotional struggle throughout the issue and it works really well to tie up the bigger story and deal with the Deathstroke issue.

The Art: All of the artists bring some beautiful visuals into this finale. The action is stunning and the characters look great. There are some great visual moments with Dick that really helped me appreciate him more as a character.
