The Rundown: Daredevil and Elektra face off against Bullseye and they investigate the return of Kingpin.
Daredevil and Elektra have descended on a meeting with a large group of low-level thugs being run by Bullseye on behalf of the returned Kingpin. After taking them on, the duo determine that something is missing from their investigation.
In the aftermath, Matt realizes that he needs to reach out to someone for help. Someone who he hasn’t seen in months. Someone who believed that he was still dead.
The Story: Ahmed delivers a great story in this issue. Not only does it continue a wonderful mystery with Matt and Elektra dealing with the Kingpin’s return to Hell’s Kitchen, but also the drama with Matt visiting his oldest friend is perfectly executed. I continue to love the surprises in this series and the final moments of this issue bring a wonderful new problem for Matt to face.
The Art: Cabal delivers great visuals throughout the issue. The art is visually engaging especially with the emotional moments for the character.
