The Rundown: Daredevil takes the war to Punisher and the Hand and not everyone will leave unscathed.
After the Hand kidnaps the child of Bullet and brainwashes the former villain, Daredevil and his untested forces meet Punisher and his undead army on the battlefield. Daredevil goes after man himself while the rest of the team fights to rescue the child and free his father.
As the battle begins to take its toll on Daredevil’s untested soldiers, Aka makes a tactical error. One that might give Elektra and Daredevil a chance to prevail. At the same time, the Fist’s movements have been discovered by some powerful people who have decided to shut down Daredevil’s crusade once and for all.
The Story: Zdarsky ramps up the intensity throughout the story as Matt deals with both the reality of the war he’s raging and the possibility that he might have to do the unthinkable. I love the dark drama of this arc and how the characters are evolving throughout it. The uncertainty of every moment made the story more intense and dramatic and I cannot wait to see where it goes next.
The Art: Checchetto delivers a visual masterpiece of action and tension. Every page is filled with amazing visual moments that connected with me.
