The Rundown: Matt and his team make their debut, but Daredevil discovers he cannot escape his fate.

Matt wants to bring his new team out in the world, but Elektra wants him to concentrate on the upcoming war against the Hand and their leader Frank Castle aka The Punisher. After returning to the states, Matt and his crew attempt to stop residents from being thrown out of their apartments while the company who bought plans to remove them one way or another. In the aftermath, Matt and Bullet talk and Matt decides to let him visit his son.

After returning to the island, Matt discovers that he can read the book of the Fist. A book that reveals that he must face the Hand ready or not. When he gets a desperate call from Bullet, Matt realizes too late that even though they are far from ready for war, they have to face the Punisher and army for the fate of the world.

The Story: Zdarsky crafts an intense and brilliantly compelling story in this issue. All of the forces internal and external tearing at Matt create a story that not only gets to the heart of the character, but infuses the drama with great meaning to the reader. I love the immediacy of the plot as well as the moments between the characters. The finale of this issue has me excited for their confrontation.

The Art: De Latorre and Checchetto deliver some stunning visuals throughout the issue. The art is exciting and perfectly captures and complements the tension and emotion of the story.
