The Rundown: Matt tries to find a way to help the people he liberated while Elektra’s mission gets some dangerous attention.

After breaking a series of villains out of custody, Daredevil transports them to the base of the Fist so that Samson can try to break through to them emotionally. Unfortunately, the task is harder than he imagined and even his best attentions are flawed when pointed out by one of the escapees. Matt also has an issue with dealing with Goldy and how much influence he has had on Matt’s life.

At the same time, Elektra and a small group break into the G8 to confront the world leaders who have been replaced by the Hand. Unfortunately, her mission is interrupted by not only Iron Man, but also the media when one of the men does something drastic and public. An act that will force the Punisher to move up his timetable.

The Story: Zdarksy crafts an entertaining and thought provoking story in this issue. I love the parallel between Matt’s philosophical mission and Elektra’s physical one. The story has some great tension throughout especially in the scene with Matt and Bullet in the kitchen and Elektra facing off against Iron Man. I can’t wait to see where this story goes next.

The Art: De Latorre delivers some great visuals and I love the changes in style between Matt and Elektra’s stories.
