The Rundown: Daredevil takes to the streets when he discovers Bullseye is in town.
Matt continues his mission to bring down a new threat in Hell’s Kitchen called The Heat. After learning that there is a high-level target in the city being hunted by Bullseye, Daredevil ramps up his efforts. Unfortunately, the demands of being Father Matt force him to abandon his mission to not only counsel one of his kids, but to also meet with an old friend who seems to be darker and harsher than he remembers.
After discovering the location of the hit and the target, Daredevil rushes to the scene but it might be too late to stop Bullseye from claiming his victim. Matt will also discover that there is a growing supernatural threat targeting him through the people he cares about.
The Story: A thrilling, entertaining and suspenseful ride from Ahmed. The issues Matt continues to face in this arc are compelling and the story does a great job of showing that tense, high wire act that he is walking to maintain both his mission and his calling. There is some great drama in the story as well as awesome action and Matt’s complicated circumstances engaged me enough to see what happens next.
The Art: Peralta delivers blisteringly beautiful art in the issue. The visuals are stunning and filled with great details and action. Aburtov delivers a fantastic color palate that captures the eye, especially with the characters.
