The Rundown: Daredevil continues to hunt for the demons hunting him as he gets some much-needed help from a friend.

Daredevil and Elektra discover the body of the investigator Elektra hired. A body that has been violently murdered and sends Matt on another journey of blame. A journey Elektra refuses to allow him to take as she takes the initiative to tell him some hard truths about the creatures hunting him.

In the aftermath, Matt pays a visit to the church and finds Father Javi. After giving confession, Javi lays out some hard truths that Matt needs to hear before the sound of another attack grabs his attention. An attack that will bring him face to face with his wrath and end with some unexpected results for Daredevil.

The Story: I continue to be impressed with the ambition of this story and I really loved the moments between Matt and Elektra as well as Daredevil and Father Javi. That being said, there is a pacing issue that is starting to get to me. I don’t consider myself particularly impatient, but I find Matt’s constant introspection in direct competition with everything he is being told by the people who are about him, to be getting tedious. The tediousness of this characters constant self-doubt is waring thin with me to the point where I’m wondering who could possibly say something positive to him and have him actually believe it at this point.

The Art: Zagaria delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visual style works really well to bring out the character expressions and emotions.
