The Rundown: Daredevil and Elektra track down Fisk and Matt’s other life clashes with an old enemy.
After being defeated by Kingpin, Elektra manages to recover Matt and escape from Fisk’s hideout. At the same time, the boy Jason finds himself face to face with Bullseye after expressing his desire to kill Daredevil.
As Matt recovers from his injuries and his continued friction with Elektra, the pair suit up and go after Fisk. As they take on the Kingpin infused with the power of Greed, Fisk reveals that his plans are bigger than Matt realized and Jason finds himself confronted with what he knows about Father Matt’s nighttime activities.
The Story: Ahmed crafts an entertaining and thrilling adventure in this issue. There are a lot of moving parts in the story and I wondered which direction Matt would take throughout. Would he continue hunting for Fisk or go looking for Jason? I really enjoyed the tension throughout the story and how Ahmed builds on that tension and suspense as things get more desperate and dangerous for all of the characters involved. A thrilling story with some great twists and an exciting cliffhanger ending.
The Art: Kuder offers some great art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this issue and how it immerses the reader in the world of these characters.
