Recently we shared the news that not only would Batwoman make her appearance in this year’s DC Comics Arrowverse crossover event on the CW, but that Tyler Hoechlin would return as Superman/Clark Kent for all three episodes of the event. Subsequently, Lois Lane would also be featured in the event as well as it looks like the CW has found the actress to play her.
According to Deadline and other outlets, Elizabeth Tulloch has been cast as Daily Planet star reporter Lois Lane in the crossover event. Executive producers of Supergirl Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner spoke about the inclusion of Lois into the Arrowverse stating; “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
Elizabeth Tulloch is known for her roles in television series like Grimm and Portlandia as well as films like Parkland and The Artist. It hasn’t been revealed how many episodes Tulloch’s Lois will feature in, but there is speculation that the inclusion of Lois and Clark might be a means of bringing a new Superman live action series back to television either through the CW or the upcoming DC Universe streaming service.
