As Supergirl and her production team gear up for the upcoming third season of the CW series, there is news of some changes behind the scenes.
According to Deadline and ScreenRant, Supergirl Co-Creator Ali Adler has signed an overall deal with CBS TV Studios and will be departing the series. Adler will stay on as Executive Consultant.
Her departure is expected to elevate producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner to Co-Showrunners alongside Co-creator Andrew Kreisberg. Queller has previously worked on series like Felicity and Gilmore Girls. Rovner has previously worked on Crossing Jordan and Dallas.
Supergirl returns for its third season Monday October 9.
