The Rundown: Orrin finds new experiences and new love among the planet’s alien species.

Orrin continues to think back to the mission to this alien world before he returns to the present where he is in the presence of a group of aliens who proceed to care for him and bring him back to health. An act that will allow him to understand more of the planet as he begins to understand the language of its people.

As he continues to spend time with them, he finds himself on hunting parties as well as a longer journey he doesn’t understand. He also finds himself growing closer with a woman on the journey who has a unique destiny.

The Story: Arcudi continues to craft an interesting and compelling world in this follow up issue. I like the journey the character is taking and how it gives some interesting moments for him personally and philosophically. There is a great tone to the story that intrigued me and every moment with Orrin created some fascinating observations of this new and alien world.

The Art: Finely delivers some beautiful art in the issue. I love the visual style and how the art perfectly captures the alien nature of this world and its creatures.
