The Rundown: The remaining members of the Crisis Command deliver some brutal honesty, but will it be enough?
In front of a gaggle of reporters, the Crisis Command tells the world who they really are and what the Earth faces. In the wake of their revelation, they head off to stop another threat as the world grapples with their truth and what’s coming. In the meantime, Frontier visits Lightning World in the hope that empathy might be reborn. What she discovers is that the return of a concept might require a new approach.
As the rest of the team takes on enemies around the country, Executrix prepares the next phase of her plan. A plan that will introduce versions of herself designed to take on the Crisis Command and bring about the end of the world.
The Story: A fun and interesting issue from Steve Orlando. The story is filled with big ideas and concepts that challenge the reader on many levels. I continue to be impressed with the concept of this story as well as its characters. The plot does a great job of keeping me engaged and I cannot wait to see where it goes next with the cliffhanger ending.
The Art: Tinto crafts some beautiful looking panels filled with detail and great looking characters. The action is fantastic as well.
