The Rundown: Sara May continues her education unaware of the history of the place she’s learning from.
Sara May continues her magical education at the Linton School, but she continues to worry about a missing classmate as well as all of the secrets being kept around her. Secrets including the demon that was unleashed and bound to the school and the mysterious Miss Brooke and what she really wants from Sara May.
Brooke decides to bring Sara May to a hedge maze for her next lesson. A lesson that will require her to retrieve some soil from the center of the maze. Unfortunately, Sara May isn’t told that the center of the maze includes a vengeful god.
The Story: An entertaining story that has great tension throughout. I love seeing the evolution of the series and the characters as well as Sara May gaining more agency as the series continues. I look forward to seeing more as the story develops.
The Art: I really enjoy Burzo’s art style and how it emphasizes the characters so well. It’s refreshing while also tapping into the tension of the story.
