Deron GenerallyMarvel Studios is expanding its cinematic universe to the small screen with a series of shows coming to the streaming service Disney+. Now there’s news about the development of one of those new shows.
According to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, Captain Marvel co-writer Jac Schaffer will be coming onboard the project as executive producer and will pen the first episode. She has also penned the screenplay for the upcoming Black Widow movie as well.
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to return as the characters for the upcoming series. Not much is known about the series itself, but the last time the two Avengers were on-screen together was in 2018’s Avengers Infinity War where their relationship came to a dramatic and tragic end at the hands of Thanos. Considering the movie began with the two already together as a couple, the new series could explore their relationship between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers Infinity War or it could be set post Avengers: Endgame.
