The Rundown: Sam Wilson faces down the White Wolf as destruction rains all around them.
Captain America faces off against the White Wolf for the fate of Mohannda. As the rebel forces are being decimated, Sam is only one standing in the way. As the two battle, Sam becomes increasingly more angry at everything he and Joaquin have faced.
The battle between the two leaves destruction in its wake, but when Sam gets the advantage, he will have to decide if he can still carry the shield if he gives White Wolf the punishment he deserves.
The Story: Onyebuchi brings this arc to a satisfying conclusion that lays the groundwork for some interesting stories and conflicts to come for Sam Wilson. The action was brutal, intense and satisfying. The conflict was engaging both emotionally and philosophically. I enjoyed seeing Sam taken to the edge and seeing what he would do when faced with being a killer. I look forward to seeing where Sam’s story goes next.
The Art: Silva delivers some beautifully detailed and dynamic art throughout the issue. The visuals are stunning and the action was fantastic.
