The Rundown: The demon has escaped and it will take Toba and his friends to find a way to save their town and the world.
Ewon and his Ajogun have escaped into our world and with no protection, they plan on taking over. Toba manages to escape the Elseverse but has bad news about his father as he and his new friends hurry to the auditorium to come up with a plan. As the group splits up to save the people waking up, Toba discovers the weapon he needs to take on Ewon. As the demon tries to leave the town, it discovers that it is still trapped in Buckhead thanks to Darsha’s quick thinking.
As they make their way to Darsha’s house, they are attacked by the Ajogun and have to fight to protect their families and each other as Ewon makes its next move. One that will require Toba and his friends to band together if they have any chance of saving Buckhead and the world.
The Story: Shobo brings this story to a satisfying conclusion filled with great tension and adventure. There are some awesome action beats in the story and the characters really stand out. The pace was a little fast at points, but the story was satisfying enough to make the haste of the issue something that could be understood and appreciated.
The Art: George Kambadais delivers some great art in the issue. The action is visually thrilling and the focus on characters dazzles the eye as the action and thrills come together with style.
